If you encounter this error -
Cannot uninstall component – MS VC++ 10.0.30319 X86 version - Download the exe again from the below link :-
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=5555
Run the installer- and when prompted for path to vc_red.msi file - point it to the extracted directory - you should be successful in doing the uninstall.
